Road to Home

Acrylics on stretched canvas

Behind the painting

The coastal roads of California always sat front and centre in my mind. They were filled with blues and greys. This painting is a dreamscape of a similar route. Nothing is clear, but a memory of the road once taken. Foaming seas and crumbling cliffs with sorbet skies overhead. Not sure whether to be at ease or on edge.
