Bridget brings the Spring

Inspiration behind the painting

Spring sneaks in seemingly overnight through beds of flowers and full trees following a bleak winter. I’ve always felt drawn to Bridget and her ability to rouse life after a hibernation. As I came out of a particularly rough winter, I could feel Bridget wake nature up overnight. And with the springtime sun that morning after those dark nights, I felt relief for the first time in a long time.
