Inspiration behind the painting
A moment in life where it is entirely unknown. The light is coming in the kitchen window and my uncle stands over my shoulder correcting my brushstrokes with no words, only presence. A death sentence in less than 1,000 days was carried out.
New York, maps, determination, and snow globes will always make me think of him.
